These terms and conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Vintage Eternity Rings ("we", "us", or "our"), which operates the website at www.vintage-eternity-rings.com (the "Site"). By entering and using the Site, you unconditionally accept these terms and conditions, and any future amendments we may make.

We are a specialist family business with over 25 years of experience in vintage, antique and preloved eternity rings. Every piece in our collection is individually sourced and personally selected.

Anyone who accesses our Site is deemed a user. The use of this website is permitted for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not republish, sell, reproduce or otherwise exploit any content or items from this website for commercial purposes, or create any derivative works based on its content.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and validity of any information you submit to us. You agree not to use any device or method that could interfere with the proper functioning of our Site.

We take great care to describe every item accurately, including its condition, era, metal, stones and any relevant details. All vintage and antique jewellery is described to the best of our knowledge, and any condition points are noted clearly.

Unless otherwise stated, assessments of diamond colour, clarity, and weight are made without removing the stone from its setting, which on occasion may present limitations. Should you disagree with our assessment, we will only consider the opinion of a qualified gemological laboratory. Please contact us to discuss any concerns before returning an item.

Some product images may be created or enhanced using AI visualisation technology to help illustrate scale and styling. While based on our actual products, slight variations in proportion, colour or detail may occur. All imagery should be considered illustrative. We are happy to provide additional photographs or measurements on request.

We sell through a number of physical locations as well as online. Whilst we do our best to keep our website up to date, there may occasionally be instances where an item sells in one of our stores before we have been able to remove it from the Site. In such cases, we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know, and will arrange a full refund promptly.

We reserve the right to update or amend content on the Site at any time without prior notice.

All prices displayed on the Site are in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time you place your order.

In the event of a pricing error, we will contact you before processing your order. You will have the option to proceed at the correct price or to cancel your order for a full refund.

All online transactions are processed securely through Shopify Payments and Stripe. We do not have access to your card details at any point. Full details of Stripe's terms and privacy policy are available at www.stripe.com.

Your order will be processed once payment has been confirmed. Items remain available for sale until payment is received in full.

We offer complimentary fully insured and tracked delivery on all orders within the UK. International shipping is available — please contact us for details and charges.

Orders are typically dispatched within 2 business days of payment being confirmed. We will only ship to the address provided at the time of purchase. We are unable to ship to PO box addresses.

All items are sent fully insured at our risk. In the unlikely event of an item being lost or damaged in transit, please contact us immediately.

We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to deliver where this is caused wholly or partly by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, we offer the following returns policy:

• You must contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to notify us of your intention to return.
• The item must be returned to us within 14 days of that notification, via a fully insured and tracked postal service, at your own expense.
• Items must be returned in the same condition as received. We are unable to accept returns of damaged, broken or altered items.
• If you have requested a resize or alteration prior to delivery, and subsequently wish to return the item, we will refund the cost of the ring only. The cost of any resizing or alteration work carried out will be deducted from the refund amount.
• Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within a reasonable time of the item being received and inspected.

Please take care of any vintage or antique jewellery. These items are not suitable for wear during gardening, washing, showering, sport or any activity that may expose them to impact or chemicals. Items should be treated with the care appropriate to their age and materials.

Every diamond in our collection is tested using the latest gemological detection technology to verify that it is a natural, earth-mined stone and not laboratory-grown or a simulant. We are committed to full transparency and accuracy in the description of all gemstones.

Our testing is carried out by a GIA-qualified diamond graduate. Where any queries arise regarding a stone, we will only consider the opinion of a recognised qualified gemological laboratory.

All content on this Site — including text, images, photography, graphics, logos and design — is the property of Vintage Eternity Rings and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this Site without our prior written permission.

We are committed to protecting your personal data and will never share your details with any third party without your explicit consent, except where required by law or necessary to fulfil your order (for example, with our delivery provider).

We handle all personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. The data we collect relates to your order and shipping details. We will only contact you in connection with your purchase or, where you have consented, to keep you informed of new arrivals and offers.
